Garmin Viago app or Tom Tom app for iPhone ?

The relies are after a sat nag for when they are travelling here and are used to Garmin units, but before I download the garmin viago app, anyone here using it and care to share their opinion ?

Is it any better than the Tom tom app ?

I use navfree which is mainly very good, but was friggin all over the place when I was in Cornwall so I may ditch this now.

I know the thread is a little old, but I'll chime in anyway. I use google maps and find it to be fantastic, maps are always updated, real traffic times, estimated time of arrival is generally very accurate.. and it's free!

I have sygic on my phone and find it brilliant, it uses tom tom maps. I used in spain earlier this year as it found places my garmin 660 couldnt. I now have a montana which is a big improvement over the 660, but still use the sygic app every now and again.
