Our 340 / 345 units still do basics such as following a route or getting you from A > B better than my XT, which for connectivity and advanced functions is light years ahead.
However when it is no better, and often worse, than 15 year old units for it's primary purpose I don't consider that a win.
The "Live Traffic" recomendations can be insane, as seen in places I know well in rush hour where it puts in a re-route I know will add 30 minutes to the journey whilst claiming it will save 2 minutes, or showing the main road out of my town closed for about 2 years, when it was only closed for a day or two, and no amount of pissing about with options stopped it showing this.
The GPX 1.2 issues I had were a nightmare, although Garmin did blame MRA format for them, whilst MRA blamed Garmin.
I will stck with my original XT as now I know to ignore the live traffic recomendations and to never trust its view on road closures - as they are just so far out of date to be meaningless as most the time they aren't there, and other times you hit a closure it does not know about.
Music player is also a bit shit as it is not able to support folders / playlists, and only supports MP3 files.
