Hi all, Great trip down to the Dordogne . Alls well. Multitech helmets dosnt come up to expectations as it leaked water, in the rain going through Bordeaux. Fuel gauge is not too helpful as it goes from full to quarter empty in one jump. R1200GS . Apart from these gripes and i was running the bike in it was great.
Has any one seen the price of the 550 on the site mynewcheap.co.uk . any feed back would be appreciated .. (full eroupean V9 ex vat £325 ??)

Yup i think your right just checked again bit of a spoof
Anybody know where the best deal on these is from !

I think that is the price for the 500.

The 550 from them is about £460.

Just checked their site - the 550 is quoted at £428.99 now. Seems to have been a general price drop as a number of places are quoting this sort of money. Good time to play sellers off against each other to get a few more ££s off? :D

It's great little piece of kit with more mounting aparatus than you can shake a stick at.
However if you have a Mac like I do then the City Navigator software will not run.
I'm in the process of trying to overcome this but I'm finding it a little hard work.

Emulator ;-)

"Virtualization, Emulation, and Remote Control Solutions
Running Windows or Linux Software on a Macintosh
and Running Mac OS on other Platforms
A listing of available solutions"

http://www.macwindows.com/emulator.html

and Google "free windows emulator mac"

Not tried any of these as............I have the sense to own a PC

.....and Google "running city navigator on mac" if you haven't already.
