Had a fun few days with too much sun and beer... plus err loads of bikes. :D

Stopped off at Maulbronn on the edge of the Black Forest. Lovely old hamlet with an ancient monastery.

Nice Hotel with a good view from the top floor. :thumb

Great event, but in my mind its got too big been 6 times before and I think it's got too big.

What I mean it used too have a more international feel in the campsite etc now it's mainly Germans.

A lot more turned up for the sat party, and the party tent is twice the size and I felt lacked atmosphere compared to previous years.
On the up side the music with the moto drome
rockers was very good and trade stands are better.

Looks good. I hope to make it there one year.:thumb

I'd never heard of Maulbronn until I read Tricky's post. Now I find that it's only about 40 minutes from where my dad lives. And that includes the wee ferry crossing over the Rhein at Leimersheim which is always a pleasant wee jaunt.

Guess where I'm heading when I go over in September :beerjug:
