Here’s my lads GG125 up for sale as he’s got a 250 now and will be competing in adult trials due to his age.
I bought the bike back in April 2021 from a guy in Andover called Chris Brawn who was head of development at Williams F1. He’d used it on the easy clubman course down south so it hadn’t had a lot of use. My lad used it in a few youth trials locally then got into downhill mountain biking so our weekends were spent travelling to MTB events all over the country. The little 125 stood unused for a good while.
He started riding it again towards the start of this year with a couple of mates but a good 250 came up locally so I bought it and being 16 just wanted to ride the bigger bike.
Some pals were doing the Mintex Trophy trial which is only open to youth riders on 125cc bikes so he announced that he wanted to enter so we fired up the 125 and went through it front to back.
The gearbox oil looked milky so I took it to local GasGas guru Al Winter and asked him to sort any issues out.
Al stripped the engine replaced main bearings, needle bearings kickstart idle gear, gaskets etc etc. He also replaced all the rear linkage bearings in fact anything that needed doing was done.
Bill was £625.
The bike has been ridden for 5 hours or so since the rebuild so just about as fresh mechanically as it could be.
Cosmetically it’s got a few marks as is to be expected and a sticker kit would brighten it up a bit but I’ll leave that to the next owner.
These little 125’s are a great starter bike in fact I preferred it to his 250 when I rode it.
I’d like £1695 ovno for the bike.
We are in Richmond North Yorkshire but could deliver or meet halfway by mutual agreement.
Bike is currently SORN.
