How can you drive that far with diesel pissing out of yer bus without noticing the stink and plummeting fuel gauge?

Divine intervention yesterday MR K.
My office is just around the corner from one of the roudabouts and slip roads that were affected.
I was just about to leave on my bike for the office when I got a call to cover for a colleague who was ill which entailed carrying presentation gear etc to Hartlepool from Gateshead so Bike put away and out with the Hilux.....phew.

Couldn't believe the smell and the size and quantity of slick, even the Hilux abs cut in from time to time.

Last thing I wanted was a binned bike a week before I go off to the Manx.
I was spitting tacks when I got in the office and reported it straight away, along with hundreds of others apparently.
