Anyone had the gear indicator switch go faulty on them?
Mine shows any gear except the correct gear i'm in, the dealer has ordered new switch on spec so i suspect it won't just be mine that has gone faulty.
looked on MaxBMW fiche and price quoted in states 170 dollars + !!
An expensive item if it goes out of warranty.
Any idea if this would tcause the bike to cut out on gear changes?
My dealer syays that it can't be anything to do with the stalling as it is an idicator only if that is so then why won't the engine start without the bike in neutral and the side stand up what tells the eletronics when the bike is in neutral surely the gear indicator switch
