So,there I was all wrapped up ready to leave work. It's pissing down as it can only in Darkest Africa.
I start the bike, step on the gear leave to select first... and my foot goes all the way to the floor cos the little end piece of the lever has snapped off!
"Bother!", I said, as you do on such occasions. "Now I will have to kneel on the ground to find out how the ferk I am going to fix this.
Fortunately, I had my little folding torx set and somewhere in the depths of my tank bag was an old bolt which happened to fit in the hole. So after only about 10 minutes of the rain running down my neck I was on my way.
Odd though.. Anyone else had that happen? Or am I too rough with the poor girl when I stomp down on the gear lever?
