Out for a ride yesterday and later in the day noticed a rattle under acceleration at certain revs.
Had a look round the bike this morning and found the bolt that holds the gear lever on was halfway out.
Also when sorting this I noticed the little stud that screws into the gearbox shaft was missing.
I’ve put some Loctite on the gear lever bolt and hopefully cured it.
I’ve replaced the other one with a BMW bolt but not Loctite it as it needs the proper bolt at some point.
Toolkit now has two spare bolts just in case it happens again away from home..
Bike is a ‘23 plate with 16000 miles.
