Recently aquired a 2004 1150 GSA 21,000 miles.I have just fitted Touratech lowering pegs and adjustable gear selector lever. The bike went out for its first ride and  You can work your way up the box but then limited to 5th and 6th gear only. Once cold you can work back down the box
From what I can see all should be fine it was a straight forward swap.
Does any body have any ideas?

Remove the gear selector, remove the bush inside of it and grease it. This is a common problem on GS's with the standard gear selector. I have to do mine each spring.

If that is not the cause, removing and refitting it might show up any fitting error on your part.

Hi,

Thanks Rob, for the advice and Tim for the offer. Took Touratech Lever off prior to going to work. Found burr on bronze bush that sits within the lever pivit point. Which locked inner pivot bush to lever.

Now all back together but work once again gets in the way of fun.

Hopefully that will have is sorted.

Will let you know. If not sorted and the offer still stands I may pay you a vistit Tim.

Thanks Again

Mark
