Gear shift assist for a 2006 ?

Can any one tell me is gear shift assist available for the 2006 1200gs?
Im doubting it is as the 06 isnt fly by wire but thought id ask.

No it isn't. You will be able to fit a quick shifter but that isnt the same as what the later bikes have. The later lets you do clutch less downshifts as well as up.

I've got a Translogic quick shifter on my 07 GSA12 which works on up shift only.....and rather marvellous it is too

Oh well. it was one part of the 2016 triple black I took for a test ride I rather liked.
