Does anyone know of any dealers that have actually got the Gear Shift Assist Pro kit 23418536884 actually in stock and unallocated?

I can Guarantee Pidcocks have NOT as they don't yet have parts lists or any info on which bikes they can fit them on, mine is an early 2014 model & as of yesterday still not got info.
So, saves you a call..

Thanks. I'm running out of time to actually get one now, disappointingly...

Any other replies out there?

I'm sure you'll survive:rolleyes:

Yes, thanks for the sarky comment, of course it's not at all essential - but when the dealer has promised you something, and then at the last minute they change their minds, it's just a bit of a mild disappointment, that's all. And so I'm obv trying to see if there is a way round it.

Dealers can access the BMW network for stock available europewide now (I think? Definitely UK wide)

SO maybe they are just in short supply just like the Panniers and other Farkles that were in short supply

So if you want to stop it happening to you again? Here's a BIG tip, told to me by my foreman who had been at the BMW dealership here for 25 plus years
"Do not Buy a New Model BMW in the first 2 years!"

End Quote!

Not taking the p*ss, it's a genuine question - What is the point of the Gear Shift Assist Pro?

I know what it does, but why does a GS need one?

Have you aksed Jefferies..??
one fitted to mine and BigD's adventures already.........

How long will it take them?

I ordered some bits 2 weeks

One came in a few days, so I collected it yesterday and the other bit was on back order with no delivery time estimates - dealer chap said it could be 4-6 weeks when it goes to that particular status

Guess what, the effing part came into the dealer today, less than 12 hours after I was in there......................the law of sod

So your bit could turn up tomorrow:D

So, even the dealers and their BMW computers have no idea

Actually if you read mine properly

It says that The dealers can locate stock in Europe if requested!

So the OP can go ask the dealer Who has stock and when will it get here

Apparently none in UK; next batch available from Germany third week of April. Hence the question about dealers with available stock.

Don't worry too much! mine is fitted to my new GSA but the as yet none of the codes sent by BMW can activate it! So even if you can get your mitts on one it may not work.

none available in malaysia. updated etk not released yet , apparently
