Mine's in for a service soon, I'll get them to look at it. I've tried various gear lever positions and agree that the force needed to lift it into gear is excessive. I can't do it without lifting my foot off the peg.
thats exactly like mine i now run for 6 miles and it stops so its booked in on the 1st july at Wolaston motorad. they have ordered a switch just in case.

Mmm, Russell or Gary may have to order a second switch if that turns out to be the issue. On two out of three of the last runs mine has steady-fastly refused to budge 2>3. I've had to hit it with some revs and to double, treble clutch.
