Slight grind sensation on gear shifter.

Hi, ridden my new to me gs1250 last couple of times, and noticed 1st to 2nd using the clutch and sometimes going into 1st from neutral a slight grind feeling in the gear shifter halfway into the gear change . Is that normal or am I shifting wrong (tips welcome) I’ve adjusted the lever as it was a bit tight for my boot and yet to try it. I know the gearbox are a bit agricultural but anyone else experience this?

In my experience riding GS’s including my current 1250, you need to be positive/firm across the neutral gate between first and second gear (but not abusive).

Don’t pussy foot about (pun intended).

I found I had to adjust the gear leaver up a fair bit, as being a bit lazy with my changes, it would crunch a bit between 4th to 3rd.
