Gearbox 6th to 5th issue.

OK so on a 1999 1150GS, I originally started having the odd occasion when it would jump out of 6th, this is now rare but annoying. What is now worse is that on downchanges from 6th to 5th the box sometimes gets a neutral or is graunchy, especially if done clutchless, with clutch not so bad but must be planned, not nice at all?

Any advice?

Glad I did not get any advice from the experts here, as I might have got the box scrapped, anyway think I found the issue noticed that the lever "slack" was like "wierd" like an inch? so did the strip the linkage, check the pedal, the input to the gearbox was still sloppy, took off the starter cover, the lever to spline is loose!!!!

Fixed, but its dark and waiting for pads to do the brakes tomorrow, but got a good feeling.

My superior 1100 has never jumped out of sixth......
