Gearbox bearing

Just about to refresh the 1150 gearbox and noticed that the output shaft bearings run an oil seal, I assume this is correct?

They are all sealed and are of the TM type. A specially developed bearing for transmissions.
The seals actually leak oil thru but block foreign particles.
They last much longer than an open bearing.
A regular 2RS bearing will fail if used in transmissions
