Gearbox overhaul.

Been to a few Classic bike meetings in the last few weeks and have been inspired to resume the R60/7 rebuild.
I've been trying to contact Scriminger Engineering as I want the gearbox overhauled but can only get engaged tone or recorded message.
Thought there was someone else here who did this but can't for the life of me remember!
Can anybody help?

I've rebuilt a few boxes and I'd be up to fettling yours if you're not in a hurry for it.

I'm just down the road from you so I could collect the box if you like (must put some miles on the 1150 GSA now that its sailed through its MOT ).

I was there on my 1958 Ariel 'VH' 500 (you probably heard me leave ).

Yes, I was there, superb day apart from the scarcity of bacon rolls. Can't recall your Ariel but I did leave early. I was on the Bumblebee.

Yes Bob, that was me. I saw your Ariel but didn't hear it running. Saw Big Jets bike and took some pics of his top box, in case I want to take the 80 further afield.
Back home for a quick swap over to the 1100 as the 80 had blown a fuse for the second time (no neutral light or indicators),then down to 'The Crees' in Abernethy to meet some of the Fife lads. Saw Derek there too amongst others. Stunning 90S!

That R90 s was stunning Bob a great day thanks for the photos as my camera chucked it Cheers Thought I would have bumped into you K80, nice bike .The top box is a cheapo from Motorworks (£90)ish.but I bonded a a 3mm alloy plate.10 x 14 inch folded at 4 inches into the bottom of the box then attached it with 16 and 18 mm p clips .My multitech was in there and if you seen me you,ll know that Ive a big napper.

There are quite a few non standard parts in common on both bikes and I know a subsequent owner stripped the marking off the tank so I wondered if they were the same bike.

For a while I thought this was yours .

But then I realised yours was an R60/7 .

Another Airhead - an R45 (does it need twin front disc brakes ).

Totally off-topic . . But I rather liked this, in a minimalist sort of way .

It'll smell good too .

I always have a look at any 100GS I see in case it's my old one! Neat little top box and fixing, ideal for what I want. Maybe next year.

gerry one bought from a cool German bloke staying in Glasgow.His Asian girlfriend told him not to budge ,he never,I was gonna break it for spares.Anyway I love it
