Being a complete arse I was speaking with somone at the ace today and forgot who it was that asked about the gearbox sight glass and filler, and the rear seat luggage plate.
so thought I would paste here in the hope that the right person will see it.

I'm not the person you spoke to but I would like to answer a question.

Have you got any dsbikeprotection products and if so whats your thoughts on them. I was looking at the headguards.

Postage seems a little steep. 30 Euros.

That would have been lo-iq and I, jesting at your miniature power take-off device. Ta for the update.

Another site to look through for bits & bobs. :thumb

yep I have the rear luggage plate, the one in the picture is not their current production model which pissed me off a bit as they have for some reason drilled holes in the damn thing, and I have modified mine so that it fits on and off with a single key. The quality is not fantastic, it is ok, however I priced up the cost of getting somone to make me one exactly as I wanted and in the cost of the ali and time it was cheaper to buy this an modify rather than make my own. If there is an already existing product in the uk I would get that.

Whilst poncing around the DS website in spanish and trying to work out the postage costs it looks like I have inadvertantly ordered some stuff.

I've got some headguards on my 1100. They look the same as Touratat to me, are much cheaper, and seem ok (haven't dropped the bike so I don't know how well they work.)

They are also on Ebay -
