Gecktec - heated grips but for your feet!!!!!!

Invented here in the UK by a small group of GS riders who ride all year even in the coldest winter. Fed up with cold feet came up and patented a new technology. Details on www.gecktec.com

GS riders can now flick a switch and warm their feet just like heated grips. No need to plug in or carry batteries. system is based on induction coupling. Web site has a couple of videos showing how it works etc. Post comment if you have any questions.

I find that wearing three pairs of skiing socks made from a silk/wool mix works for me even when the temps are below freezing.

I am glad i watched the video as i was wondering as to how the heat got through the soles of the boots !

As for lots of socks that only works if you have enough room for air to circulate otherwise you just end up with even colder feet !
