Genuine reproduction 719 mirrors

On my previous GS I had the option 719 mirrors fitted that I thought were the dogs danglies.
My GSA came with the standard mirrors. The genuine 719 mirrors are eye wateringly expensive.
There are some “clones” on Ali express, has anyone tried these?

Yes, I've got a set on my GSA. Excatly the same as my mates 719 mirrors that were from BMW. I'd go as far as to say they're out of the same factory.

Interesting, my used Rallye HP GSA came with a few 719 options including foot pegs, shift and brake pedals and an engine front cover plate (all eye wateringly expensive!) but not the mirrors.

Might treat myself.

Seen a few suppliers ebay and Ali, any chance you can say where you got yours from?

If it’s on ebag it will most likely have originated from a seller on Ali, only difference is the markup will be more on eBag.

I buy a lot of carbon stuff off Ali and majority of the time it replicates 100% the oe part.

I asked my mate to point out what he thought was the genuine bmw part and he picked the Ali as the oe part.

Fitted my Option 917 mirrors today.
The ones I’ve had delivered are definitely not made in the same factory as the originals, few detail differences but for a little over a tenth of the price they certainly ain’t bad.
The machining on the originals carries on around the radius of the area where the mirror itself attaches. ( like on Robbiebens). Detailing where the mount is also slightly different.
The BMW Motorrad is a transparent sticker which I may remove. For less than 60 quid I’m happy with them.

Mine arrived this afternoon and I’m blown away by the quality of finish, machining and detail.

Busy repairing the flush on the downstairs loo today but might get them fitted tomorrow.
