Germany/Austria/Italy/Switzerland run

Nice pics

Just back from Alps myself - I guess we must have been there about the same time. Your pics look really good - but fortunately you seem to have found a few dry days / hours.

I couldn't seem to escape the rain - followed me down the Swarzwaldhochsrasse all the way to Austria. (did the hochstrasse in driving rain / heavy fog and 30 yrd visibility.... aargh... not as it's meant to be!!).

Was much better over in Italy though - Val Gardena / Sella kinda made up for the previous three / four days.

Not quite as I'd hoped it would be this summer!

Hi Sven

Thanks for observations on the route. Your comment on the Alps is leading me to consider straight lining from Nurburgring to the real scenery.
We are off on Thursday morning so here is hoping we don't catch the same weather which plagued Hands Free.
Thanks again

Mark, I used a series of waypoints that I wanted to hit instead of sticking slavishly to a route. The routes I posted were as a result of the waypoints I used. I'll gladly post you them if you pm me your email and I'll send them as an attachment.

Hi Hands Free, glad you enjoyed the pics. Bad luck about the Swarzwaldhochsrasse but you now have a great excuse to return :bounce1

Glad you guys are still enjoying the pics.

This little fellow does all the damage

But any half decent camera would do the same job ;)
