Off for a 7/8 day trip ...Hull to Zeebrugge tomorrow (Friday) then aiming to be heading to Cochem area and then off towards Austria...Grossglockner and a few other passes.....nothing set in stone.
Anyone heading that way ??

Keep an eye on the weather , Stelvio is forecast for snow on Friday and temps down to minus 3 and the Hohentauern National Park (Grossglockner) area is expecting up to 25 cms of snow at altitude over the next week

Ha southern jessey Moon.....ha... Ha right mate, changed plan to quick trip to Scotland from this aft till Wednesday and then home n jump on plane to Tenerife for five days... Dohhh....

I did grossglockner on Tuesday in 30+ degrees in the valleys. At the top it was 14 degrees. And today there is now snow. Weird

Not Weird at all, just normal weather patterns, I have been there in August when it was just 1c and in late October when it was 20 plus. There have been fewer than normal closures due to bad weather this season but it happens from time to time. September/October are usually the best months weather wise, there is a long period when temperatures at 2,000 metres are not much lower than in the valleys. Not much sign of that for the next couple of days though but I am sure normal service will be resumed soon.

I do hope so I want on lt run over the road before I return to live in the UK a the end of September.
