I 'd hoped Gerry would have discribed us finding a lady stalled on a very steep hillpass with a car with some kind of electric handbrake

I'm just in the door after another lap of Ireland. Over 4,200 Kilometers in the 10 days as 2 separate trips.
Any how between trips I met Dermott last Wed and we went exploring.
Crossing Bothair na Gloch from the south we come across a car heading against us up the really steep bit - allegedly the steepest road in Kerry. Except the car was not "coming" there was a man attempting to chock the wheel with stones. We stopped the bikes and suddenly the car rolls back across the stones. Now there's a large drop to one side and a mountain on the other Luckily the car slews into the mountain with quiet a thump.
We park the bike ane a very shaken and lucky lady emerges. It appears she stalled her car. It was a pseudo 4 X 4 with some kind of unconventional hand brake; once stalled there was no brake servo a nd she could not hold the car.
The car was now cross ways on the road and the ladies friend in a similar vechicle was freaked down hill not being able to go up or back.
D & I assist and lady one's husband arrives and drives her stranded car up the hill with out a bother.
All in all hard to figure out what went wrong in the first place.
We carried on our merry way putting up a new route. I was on the Serrow and struggled occasionally - D powered up on his beemer, some pilot and after assisting the ladies not just my hero.
