My son’s 650GS hasn’t turned a wheel for 4 years and he wants to get it back on the road this summer. It was running fine the last time he used it, he used to keep the battery charged and fire it up from time to time but for the mast 3 years or so nothing has happened. We know it needs a new battery and fresh fuel.
What would those who know recommend before firing it up and any special service items to get it nice and reliable. I seem to recall that waterpump seals can be an issue.
