Getting my GSA1200 a Spanish overhaul

Hi all,

I'm converting my 2009 UK bike into Spanish spec to pass its ITV (MOT) here in Spain, before officially importing it.

Has anyone done this before and knows what alterations are needed.

Assuming the headlight is a priority - or can these be adjusted.

Anything else I need to think of?

That's a great write up on the link and a great introduction to Spanish bureaucracy

Re the headlight specifically, AFAIK the headlights are not 'handed', they are asymmetric so that's one less thing you should need to do.

Isn't asymmetric the same as handed??!

Bike headlights dip vertically not to the left or right so that should be one less job for you to do.

Great news! Although I get flashed a lot by oncoming cars (with low beams on) in Spain, so assumed this was the reason

I guess it depends what your time is worth and if you can be bothered, it doesn't seem like an awful lot of money to have someone else sort it for you.
