I have seen a few riders recently in the what I recognised from their website as Gialli 2100 Stretch Denim jeans.... but never got the change to ask what they fit like as we cut through London's smog filled streets.

Anyone got a pair of the 2100 denim or Zero-5 cordura jeans? What are they like?

I usually wear leather jeans but it was so feck hot this summer that there has to be an alternative.....

Hi,

I´ve been using Gialli regular jeans (I mean those without permanent/visible protectors) and it was not bad experience. Jeans were quite tough and definitelly not as ventilated as regular jeans. Cost here is about 50% in compare with BMW kevlar jeans.

Have a look at Hood Jeans up in Norfolk.

I've been wearing Hood jeans while riding in hot weather since last summer. Very good product, made to measure if required, from an excellent family firm in Norfolk (I have no affiliation :D).

I was wearing them when I took an untimely (low speed) tumble at Nurburgring in Sep 02 - they provided excellent protection and I'm still wearing the same pair! Good value too (£60ish, IIRC, including kevlar lining & knox armour)...........

Mike:)
