Anybody got a Klim Induction mesh jacket?

If you have, what do you reckon to it?

I'm riding from Cape Town to Victoria Falls, via the Skeleton Coast, Namib Nakluft and Magidididi Pans later this year and I'm worried my Traverse kit might be a touch on the warm and unvented side...

All opinions welcome.

Helpful ones extra welcome...

Look at Rukka's Airman / Air Rider mesh offerings, too. Excellent.

I bought a Rukka Airider earlier this year and have been very happy with it however it doesn't come with a D30 back protector or waterproof liner and (if purchased in the UK) is a little more expensive than the Klim Induction

One of the reasons for buying the Rukka was that I knew my exact size as I already own an Armaxion suit. With Klim seemingly not being so well supported here in the UK buying on-line represented a bit of a gamble. On another day and if I could have found a supplier with one in stock to try before I bought I may well have gone for the Klim

Ive ridden a lot in SA, Thailand , India and the USA.
Believe me , you will need a vented jacket. Preferably one with vents in the front and back.(4) Alternatively a Mesh jacket.

You've probably spotted that he's looking at a Klim mesh jacket?

No?

Well, he is.

Other variants in their mesh range do.

The price in GBP, if bought from say Germany, has gone up 10% in a month or so due to the rate of exchange. Still a good but of kit though.

I love mine Richard, best summer jacket by far.....

I keep the Forecast jacket with me in case it rains, which is also the best waterproof.....

Kind regards
Shaun
