Bought a GS 1200 04 a couple of months ago and had to change the standard screen straight away it was crapp! checked the forum and the Givi Airflow came out on top, bought one on E-bay for £136 new delivered, fitting was a bit fiddly as stated on the forum but the results are AMAZING 70 mph on the M5 6am mid November visor UP !! yes the instructions are iffy and you have to use your own lower side bushes/rubber mounts but it is well worth it Highly recommended ps just done a 20 mile ride in pouring rain on the m5 the screen was brilliant !!

Graham I'm going to move your thread over to the 1200 section where its best placed.

Hello and welcome btw

Yep, a great bit of kit and the best mod i made to my GS.....try adding winglets ala GSA....even better.

How tall are you? I'm thinking of one but being 6ft5in, with the seat in high position on a GSA I worry that it's not quite tall enough.

YMMV, but at 6'1" and a bit I have the adjustable part of the screen barely above the lowest setting. There's a lot of room for manoeuvre if you want it higher.

I am 5ft 11 and have the lower screen in middle setting and the top screen set low, this at present works for me, there is a LOT of adjustment up and down, hope this helps

I'm 5'8" usually with my 330 on a low to middle setting with Tobintors tipping it back. A 6' 6" rider might need a screen extender but the 330 plastic is quite flexible. The Adv screen brace would probably help but mine got damaged so not tried it with the 330.

On the other hand a tall rider may be able to sit above the standard screen mush that hits me in the head. Better to try first or buy used and sell if unsuitable.

Screen for extremely tall person

I'm 6'6" and a screen off dreamscreenuk on ebay and an MRA X-Creen do the trick, but look weird. Visor up a 70mph no problem, seat in high position.

I've had a couple of close shaves with car park barriers and my Schuberth C3 with the front flipped open.

looking through a very tall screen is bad enough, but when until it rains.

The 330 allows air through to fill in the (otherwise) turbulent space behind a one piece screen.

I fitted the Givi 330 a few weeks ago with N.N. winglets at the same time ..... What a difference , the best mod yet. :thumb2
