My very own recording studio! (South Wales).
Hi.

Seen quite a few posts about tall people with Airflows trying to get a smooth ride. For the last few weeks, for my summer collection, I have been rocking a Simpson Venom Carbon helmet and it has transformed the riding experience for me, my old Shoei Neotec was very noisy and buffeting. I'm 6'3" and the ride is so much better. HTH someone...

Helmets would make a great difference specially at highway speeds. ADV helmets being the worse in my opinion....

But I also have the Givi Airflow and I love it to bits, so does the wife when traveling as pillion.

Glad I havent got a Givi Airflow, mine is bad enough with the standard screen and a Schuberth C4 at 5'11".

Shoei x spirit std screen 6 foot absolutely perfect. Maybe helmets have more to do with it. As the x spirit is a race helmet designed for high speed. It's not the quietest with all the vents but no buffeting.

High speeds all helmets have some buffeting (Arai, HJC, Shoei, Scorpion, Fox are the ones I have used on the bike). Spolier cures that. Low speeds most helmets OK. Spolier also means open face very comfortable with or without glasses. Spolier can be taken off when not on autobahn or other roads that allow speeds which create buffeting

I bought a cheap spoiler a while back. Massive difference at motorway speeds. Still noises but my head is in clear pocket of air and it’s much less fatiguing. I’m 6”4’

I’m shocked at any negativity towards the Givi AF330, It’s by far the best screen I’ve ever had on any bike. Works a treat on my 2011 TC. Most rides I never bother putting my visor down, though recently adding winglets has produced some slight buffeting so they’re coming off.
