Having tried quite a few screens now I have decided for pottering around local lanes the OE screen is best, for touring I do prefer the Huge Puig Touring screen.

I was hoping the Givi would do both jobs very well, but it is actually quite tall in the lowest position and not as good as the Puig when in the high position.

So I have settled on 2 screens being better than one and decided to flog the Airflow.

I will be waiting for the MRA Vario touring screen for the SA S 1290, if I don't find the OEM adequate.

The MRA was the best I found for the GS.

I've put the screen from the R on my S, and it's a massive improvement. It's fine up to around 120mph, anything more, you need to tuck in behind it.:augie:D

I'm going that way, also, as the S version doesn't give enough cooling and can be turbulent.

Interesting, smaller really is better

When I tested the S I found the standard screen to be unbearably noisy at anything over 80.
