Hi Guys

I just bought a givi airflow for a gs 1200 2007.

I am 6.2 ft tall - 183 cm.

I tried all possible set-ups and it seems i cant get rid of the buffeting - It seems that i have buffeting starting 50mph till 100 mph ( worse)

With stock screen at the lowest setting was fine for buffeting but noisy. This one is not so noisy but a lot of buffeting.

I dont have any gps mounted - i removed it to keep the airflow but no luck.

What do you think?

airflow

i'm 6ft and use an airflow but still get a bit of buffeting. on a still day it is not bad but if there is wind from the side or head on i get fair bit despite trying all the ajustments.

I'm 190, with tall back and short legs. I also use a Schuberth C3 when riding.

When I tilt my Givi maximally I have an almost perfect flow, almost regardless of which position I set the upper screen in.

With the missus on, I have to tilt the screen up one notch to achieve happiness again.

Side wind, however, is still evil. And sometimes, it feels like the air shifts density in a strange way, and react differently to my settings. Anybody noticed this?

The best Screen for me , it sorted all the buffeting problems out, but I did fit winglets at the same time. I'm 5'10'' on a good day :D. The best mod for me by far. :thumb2

I agree with Rockred the addition of the winglets made it perfect for me .

I have mine with winglets and a short Wunderlich extenders at the front. I have the back mounts set at slot 2. Any lower would cause the screen to rub bodywork.
I'm 5ft 8ins. A tall rider may benefit from Tobinators and set the back mount higher.

Happy with mine on lowest possible settings, on windy days buffeting is evident, can't be helped.

On sunny day I remove the top screen and its bliss, with a hint of airflow so I can breath.

Put the winglets on...... Most of your buffeting comes from there

Good news :)

With the seat in the high position ( normal ) and with the screen at the midle is the best.

I am going to do my own winglets from a suzuki screen :)

You can get pattern winglets on eBay for very little money.
Try some gaffa tape and card if you want to try different shapes.
