Givi Ali topbox over rear seat

I know the GSA BMW aluminium topbox can be repositioned replacing the pillion seat but can a Givi aluminium topbox be repostioned on a standard GS LC?

Edit - I've found this rear passenger rack but am not sure it will allow me to move the Givi box forward.

Only if you remove the grab rails and mount a custom plate over pillion seat area, trying to think of the company, sold by Motohaus, SW Motech rack? Not sure who makes the adaptor kit to fit the plate to the rack

It can't. Givi trekker can only go on the back like normal unless you get a custom plate made. Have a spare trekker GSA mounting plate if you're interested.

Thanks but I have the Trekker plate & box already on my GS. I was looking at options to move it over the rear seat.

That's it, I have the rear rack shown in the same photo, you can see the mounting holes are the same, my givi adaptor clips into 3 speed clips and then mounts on the plate, not sure if it would do the same on the pillion rack, call the guys at Motohouz uk they import the sw motech stuff, they will be able to tell you for sure

Looking for the same thing myself, did talk to someone on the stahlkoffer stand and they might be able to do one to fit as they had a monster topbox on display. Hattech did one for the TC, but currently don't list one for the LC.
