My GSA has the full set of BMW aluminium luggage, which is great but the side cases are bulky for everyday use and the top case rather small.

I also have a large Givi Trekker top case that's handy for the odd night away. But it is BIG with a capital B. The snag is the Givi plate and BMW rack are not compatible and its quite a job to swap them over.

Does anyone know of a plate that can latch onto the BMW rack with Givi lugs on the top side. Alternatively, is there a quick detatch system for the BMW top case rack so I could leave a thinner Givi Monokey plate permanently on the lower rack?

It's only a 10 minute job to fit the universal Givi plate. 4 teeeeny screws and 4 bolts.

Won't the Givi E250 plate do the job?

I had one on my GSA for a Monokey top case.

Dead easy and only about £35.

The GIVI SRA5102 Rear Plate is smart but it's still a bolt on.

I have a Givi plate - the one with the diamond grid pattern. It works well on the BMW top case rack or direct onto the Adventure rack.

The issue is I need to spend 10 or 15 minutes getting spanners doing the job, putting the tools away and probably losing the bolts at some point. I was hoping there might be something that clips into place for a quick swap when I need to use the other case.

Perhaps something can be made..............

Hi there, perhaps something could be made as an interface? here is something I came up with to adapt the OEM rack to suit a vario topbox for a GS.

I don`t expect or wish for you to think that you have to buy something from me (I don`t even make what you need) but its just an idea........
