Givi or SW Motech

That sounds good! Problem I have is we ordered the 'large' bmw tank bag which is tiny, did look at the size when I ordered it but didn't realise it was that small!! Only got the bike last week and haven't used the tank bag so might ask the dealer if they will take it back as it still has the label on it? It might be ok for me on my own but its way too small for the 2 of us, even smaller than the one we had on our K1300R.

Cheers

Yes - if you haven't used it and it still has the label, even if they give you a credit note towards a service or something ... I'm sure they'll accommodate you.

Bought the micro bag, after seeing your pics, Giles.

Top bit of kit, cheers!

After getting a refund on my BMW tank bag and going to look at the sw motech one (thanks Giles for your info). I have decided to get a Wunderlich Elephant tank bag, 15/25 litres. It is ver tall when fully expanded but you can put the bungies on which pull it down to the level you use. Without having all the bags side by side not sure which was best but this one can be used on other BMW models with the right base.

I'm looking at the Touratech bag for my 2014 GSA as it has a map pocket that seems big enough for a folded map that you don't have to scrunch up to fit in. Very retro I know but I use maps as well as GPS when touring for an overview of my route and possible side excursions. One down side of this bag is there is no back pocket for toll money.

Give XS308 comes with a map pocket: http://www.givi.co.uk/soft-bags/Tank-Bags/XS308 TANKLOCK that I'd guess is about A4 sized.

Went for the SW Motech City bag - great bit of kit :thumb

I've just received mine from Bykebitz and it's a really well made; much better quality than the one I had on my K1200S. It's a great size for a day bag, but it's a bit small for a fortnight way with SWMBO. The GS bag is probably worth the extra £25.

IMO - if you need a bigger bag than this (expanded) then you are taking too much stuff ;)

Now I've downsized from a Canon SLR to a Sony Nex-6 it's probably big enough, although my iPad doesn't really fit without touching the base, so it'll have to go in the top box so vibration doesn't kill it

Has anyone seen the Bagster tank cover fitted?
Nothing on thier website and no images they could send me! Pretty poor sales info.
