Hi,
Has anybody fitted a Givi Trekker 58L top box and Bespoke Fitting plate to a GSA with the panniers?

I have been looking to get one but it looks to me that its so wide it will prevent the pannier lids from opening unless they are removed completely.

Chris

Do have a 52L Givi and it does interfere with the opening of the pannier lids, though, with the 52 I can open the rear latch of the panniers and navigate (kinda force) the lid around the interfering topbox. if the 58 is wider, then that may not be possible.

Yes...... I have exactly that. BMW Ally panniers with the 58 ltr Givi outback top box on a GSA LC

You cannot open the pannier lids by using the hinge method. You have to open both hinges, and place the pannier lid on the seat............... Which is a good trade off for the amount of storage you gain.

I thought that would be the solution.

I use Kriega 40 travel bags in my panniers (similar to the BMW design). Would you be able to remove the bags with the 58 litre top box in the way?

Chris

The Givi Box is easy to detach from the rack to make easier access to panniers if need be. I can get my helmet into the pannier without having to remove either the pannier lid or top box. Though to remove fully packed pannier bag do need to remove top box.
