What’s the verdict on the standard Givi trekker pannier set?

OBK4837APACK2 Presumably plus the mounting kit?

I’ve got the Givi trekker topbox already on my R1250GS and it seems pretty well made, and I think I can code all the keys to the bike. Seems like a sensible approach. Any reason why not?

It would be handy to know if anyone with experience thinks they’re a good buy or not, and how wide they are when fitted, before splashing the cash!

thanks

I think they look awful, the Outbacks are much better.

Well you did ask :thumb2

The number you SBD quotes are the outbacks? all aluminium?

Are these the ones you mean SBD?

Thanks. Opinions are like arses. Everyone has one. :)

(To be fair, some are much less attractive than others!)

Had mine for 4 years and many thousands of miles. They’re really good

The paint on the racks isn’t great, so assume you’re going to repaint them every 2 years

Thanks, good advice. Could you put a tape measure over them and tell me how wide they are overall?
