Givi top box

Hi all,

Get my bike (touch wood) end of this month.........Question, does Givi do a rack for the GS1200?

I have still got my box from the 1150.

The Givi rack cost me £49 and I fitted it in about half an hour.
Looks not bad too.

No it doesnt .. Box sits further forward so there's not so much of an overhang.. seems secure enough.

No worries, Metal Man. I guess that I am slightly concerned about how much load that plastic rack can support. Perhaps unnecessarily so, but if I stick a big top box on there, I just know that I'll put lots of stuff in it...

Doesn't the manufacturers box have support legs? You can see them on the photo's. Givi supplied strengthening brackets on the topbox plate I fitted to a 1150 a couple of years ago.

The BMW box has no legs. The BMW box mounting kit has support legs...

The Givi rack for the 12GS is Givi part number SR684, this is for mounting the Givi Monokey cases such as the Maxia 52 etc.
