Anyone know of a suitable waterproof liner for a GIVI E52 Topbox?

I have tried various cheap clothing storage bags none of which are exactly the right size for the GIVI.

And before some wag suggests a black bin liner I have been using them since the days when it was actually hard to poke a finger through them!.

What I am looking for is storage type bag with a zip that run's round the circumference so its easily packed then dumped in the top box.

Any suggestions?

What about a givi inner bag? about £16 from calamander or bykebytz - not sur how waterproof they are but my givi cases don't leak. Unless of corse mrs. mixer has them too full :D

Got (and keeping) one of the GIVI bags, great bag. The mrs uses it as her kit bag. A large zip around the top of the bag which you pack with it laid down, like a suitcase. Highly recommended over plaggy bags or the like

Like bigmixer, my Givi boxes never leak.

If yours do then go with the heavy duty shopping bags sold by Tesco et al under the "bag for life" banner i.e. the ones they replace for free when it wears out.

Waitrose 'bag for life'.

Nice thick plastic and when it wears out, take it back for a free replacement! Works for me! :D

Thanks for the suggestions.

I guess I will have to keep searching as nothing suggested is quite what I am looking for.

The need for a waterproof bag in not because my box leaks, far from it, it has been 100% watertight, but when camping and doing rallies I always use it as a cool box to keep my beer cold, filled with water and a bag of ice from the supermarket it keeps the beers nicely chilled even on the warmest of days.

It would just be easier when packing up in the morning, with a hangover from drinking nicely chilled beer, to be able to back my gear into a snug fitting box liner and pop it inside my soggy topbox.

givi inner bag

I too use the standard (pannier) inner bag in my E52 top box no problems with water ingress. Did have a shoulder strap break last year, Bike bitz changed it under warrenty.

Have you thought about one of those waterproof roll bags that hein gericke sell - page 203 in there catalogue.
