If anyone out there has a Givi Trekker 46 litre case could you confirm if will take 2 x full face lids? I want to change from my old faithful E46 and just want to make sure I don't need the monster 52 litre version!

Ta..

will not take two full face one and an open face is the most it will take pretty sure the 52 will take two full face

Hi Mate - is that a statement of fact i.e. you've got one and tried it or just supposition?

I've got the more curvy E460 at the moment and that will just take 2 x full face lids. I presume the Trekker 46l being more boxy would also take 2 but the Givi site shows a pictogram of two flip fronts or open faces hence I wanted to confirm.

I've just put on a 46 L Trekker onto my CT so will check for you next time im over as I don't keep the bike at my house.

I hated the look of the 52 so it had to be the 46 for me.

I have the Trekker 46 and it will only fit my Schuberth C3 but it is an XL.
If I need to secure two helmets I take a Pacsafe then my wife is happy.

Hi Martinl i have one and it will not take two full face helmets ,one full face and one open face at a push

The 46 won't take two flip front helmets, the 52 will easy.

I also reckon the 52 looks neater on the bike than the 46, the 52 maybe even looking slightly smaller than 46 thanks to the design !

Very impressed with the 52

:agree 46 defiitely will not take two flip lids. (Could take 2 full face, but only some designs). It's a 1 1/2 lid box really!

RCE: Any chance of a few pics of the 52 on the bike with panniers? How big an ass looks is a very personal perspective :pullface

Got to say the 52 doesn't look excessive in the picture. Sorry to be a pain on this one, the easy way would be to go the nearest dealer and try it for size sadly the concept of stocking what you sell is lost on most of my locals!

My Arai XL and Mrs L's Shoei XS fit snugly in my E460. They fit on their sides or sat upright. The E460 measures 523 wide x 370 / 336 deep x 295mm high, these are actual inside sizes. Givi gives the dims for the (in theory more boxy) tracker 46 as 526 x 411 x 310 but doesn't make it clear whether these are inside or overall sizes. Would someone be so kind as to cast a tape measure across the inside of their tracker next time they have five minutes to spare.

Many thanks,

Martin

That looks much neater than I expected. Looks like the with of the box extends well over the panniers which might compromise mounting dry bags on them. But I can confirm your (bikes) ass doesn't look big in that :)

The 52 looks horrendous :barf

Had the 46 and must say the 52 is much better looking on the bike, has much better usable space, is lighter and doesn't have the partial opening section that adds complexity, weight and over time is a potential source of water ingress.

Trekker 52 will take a size 60 Schuberth C3 and a size 54-55 C3 but it is a tight fit
