I cannot seem to find the answer to my predicament. If I purchase a Trekker 46l top box, will it it interfere with the opening of the panniers due to its width?
BMW R1200 GSA 07
Hopefully someone can help me :thumb

I have 46l top box and 33l panniers on my 1150. All is well, no problems. Can't see why 1200 would be different.

Can post photos this weekend if you want?

Hope this helps.

trekker 46

i have the trekker 46 on my gsa and the standard bmw aluminum panniers. the pannier lids do not clear the top box. you can open then front to back but you have to take of the pannier lids off for full access while top box in place. it is no big deal really. that said i think it is a brilliant top box, good value for money relative to bmw top box.

Strange, i have the universal mount fitted with my trekker and i can open them from the back with no problems at all. I used to have a givi Maxia before the trekker and opening the panniers with that fitted was still easily possible but a bit of a tight squeeze.
