GIVI UNIVERSAL MONOLOCK PLATE - does it fit

Hi there,

Has anyone fitted a givi universal monolock plate to their RT.

I have just recently purchased a top box which I want to interchange betweeb the RT and GSA.

It will not be a permanent attachment, just for a week touring around France.

Not sure if that plate is the same as my monolock plate.

To fit mine on my 1200RT I fabricated an adapter plate that fitted under the standard rack and bolted onto the Givi plate above the standard rack. This has worked brilliantly.

I had the same Givi plate fitted to my 1150RT and I'm fairly certain I had to remove the standard rack and fit an adapter kit from Givi.

Either way, there are ways and means but not without buying or fabricating bits.

yes it will fit, I used the givi e193 mounting kit, a bit pricey at £60 but does the job very well.
