Until a few weeks ago I was a tour bus driver/ guide for Paddywagon. Was up in Glendalough many times. Sometimes went to different restaurants for a fry up. Sometimes I felt like a coffee and a bun or a slice of cake. Got talking to an older lady on a few occasions. Don’t know who she is. Quite a refined accent. She told me that she hated bikers. All they would buy was a cup of tea or coffee wouldn’t even buy a pice of cake. I never went back. I’d usually be there in the am. JJH

Yep I think her name is Clodagh, I always found her ok but I did always buy some food or cake 🤣

I like the spot, but the old lady is a battle axe. I think it would do well with a new owner who welcomed us bikers.
Lynhams has gone very quiet down there too, it used to be hopping but never really came back after COVID.
