I recently got a cracking deal on a Kilm Badlands and well happy I am BUT neither my summer leather (Clover) or winter (Dainese) fit particularly well over the cuffs as they don't really open wide enough.

Neither of the gloves are that new (I recon the Dainese ones are at least 10 years old) so I don't mind investing in a decent pair - Is there a consensus on what the best gloves are?

I think the current thinking is that cuffs go inside... I know, I feel old too...

Seriously!!!!!

I am getting old lol - I must try that the next time its not a monsoon :-)

Do i get the prize for the oldest gloves?

Klim element gloves are very good with the badlands

The bottom line is that you need short cuff gloves

I thought you were jist a bairn.... :nenau Seriously, gloves inside jacket cuffs has been the way to go for years, especially if you rode a sports bike where rain would run down your sleeves and funnel into your gloves. Even with a bike with high bars, water tends to wick into gloves whereas jacket cuffs usually have a non-wicking part nearest the opening.

However, I accept that Falkirk's no' exactly at the cutting edge of modern trends. :augie

Bairn im in my 50's lol
Its something I have never thought of before, when I started gloves would have gauntlets that would go up to your elbows lol

PS you are right about Falkirk, but I blame my upbringing in Kinross which is almost fife lol

I sold my Ducati 999 after 10 years last year, that bike did not like the rain as the coil pack was right in the path of all the spray from the wheel, 500cc single anyone :-)

I so loved it though but as im no longer a bairn I needed a pipe and slipper machine lol

I think that's the problem, my summers will fit well inside but no way will the winters:-) Thanks for the recomendation
