Gloves

Thanks for the article Malcvtr :thumb2 it does make some interesting reading

It also reminds me of what was good about the magazine, its testing, and what was infuriating, pages of largely irrelevant photos.

I bow to your better judgement :bow :bow

Just bought myself a pair ...... :thumb2

They are rather nice, I've an old type pair :)

The only thing I worry about them is if I come off on the motorway, will they survive a 69.99999999999 mph off?

I've got a pair of the Triumph hard carbon gloves featured in the Ride test. Been well pleased with them as they seem to be well made, a decent thickness of leather and comfortable.

Had a pair of the BMW ones for thick end of 3 years, some 35k plus miles and still going strong. Only problem is handguards deflecting wind away from glove vents but that's not their fault. Rest hand on top of handguard and lovely breeze. Got mine cheap during a 'winter' sale.

don't compromise...

Lidl or Aldi have just done their round - shame you missed it. About £12 - £15if there are any left. :blast

You may need something more if falling off is habitual or you ride track and sliding is part of your party piece - I try to keep hands off the floor so these IMHO are very suitable for the purpose. I am sure others will advise me otherwise.

Good for gardening or skiing as well so what a bargain!
