The tale, loaded CN 2009 update ok onto laptop and zumo

Laptop goes TU so bought a new one.

Laptop doesn't like CN2009 update so have it at v9 and zumo at 2009.

Tried again today to upload the CN2009 update onto the PC and it works, I now have CN2009 on the PC, but the only mapping on the zumo is the base map, and when you click on the spanner and then map, it shows greyed out for the map info.

But when I connect the zumo I can see the gmapprom.img with about 1.3gb file size

Tried updating a couple of times including the original maps and the CN2009 update, but still can't see the maps on the zumo's screen. So how do I get the zumo to "see" the maps it has in it's internal memory?

Could it be an unlock code issue?

If your Zümo has the .img but not the necessary unlock, it will not show the maps.

I think you might be right. Tried yet another update, and the zumo and laptop both say the map's not unlocked, even though you have to put the product key in to start the whole process

I'm now trying to unlock the Mapsource using the on-line unlocking.
