Not had huge amounts of time to ride the bike last few weeks, but about 3 weeks ago the bike just cut out on me, switched off ignition turned back on again started not a problem.
Did another spin of the island about 40 miles or so not a problem, then again the other night and the bike cut out twice again started again not a problem till the third time then nothing.
so all this was leading to fuel pump controller, so ordered another and fitted it, bike just started ran for a little bit then cut out again, shoved about 1/3 of a gallon in and it started not a problem, took it to the garage tonight and put in 33 litres.
Petrol gauge when it cut out and would not start showed 53 miles left. So was it co incedence that it cut out and needed a new FPC then ran out of petrol with a dicky gauge or do you think it was fuel all along??
Me I am inclined to think of it as coincedence and leave it at that and realise I have a dicky gauge
So do we call me stupid for runningout of juice or do we call me cautious for fitting a new FPC???
