Call me shallow!

Erm......

What is so bad about the Twat Suit?

I've wanted one for years and finally bought one at a 25% discount last autumn.

I understand they are not great in heavy rain but do they not work well in Spring, Summer and Autumn?

What I was looking for was anti abrasion without cooking in the heat, do they not do that well?

Thanks

Don't you ask yourself why it was discounted so much and probably over what the dealers margin would have been?

Not good in rain. Lucky we don't get much of that then....:augie

Abrasion - hope you never need it. :thumb2

I'm an Alpine Stars chap. Warm, dry and crash tested!!!:clap

It was discounted because the colours changed for the 2013 season.

Not good in the rain as they become quite heavy as the outer suit becomes sodden up to the Goretex inner but I don't ride in the rain that much out of choice these days and I can live with that. More important is being cool on a hot day, up until now I have taken the Ian Mutch line re hot weather riding v. protective gear.

I have been using a 15 year old Frank Thomas suit that is not breathable, waterproof or protective. It's got to be an improvement on that !

Being serious ... I nearly did buy a Rally suit but, as you point out the goretex layer is in side and not out, couldn't work that one out me self!!!

They do look good, hope your works out and again, seriously I hope you never need to test the abrasion resistance.

The new GS Dry suit looks good, but I wont be buying one as I have a Rukka suit

From a practical point of view I am sure that they are great suits - BUT one looks like a tw@t when wearing one - too BMW corporate looking and far too Ewan and Charlie! :D

P.S to look really cool you need a BMW Boulder jacket and City trousers

Watch it clever clogs as I may resemble that remark. :aidan

Was out on the pig today looking for any new LCs on the road. Really hoping that some may appear with the daffodils. :thumb
