God it was a good day...Cadwell park

I like to think my air photo was taken just as the wheel was landing on the ground, having just performed the biggest wheelie ever :D

I've just spent 2 hours writing a comprehensive reply only to find I cannot post it!
To sum up (I don't have another 2 hours to spare) the BMW Club days are very different to any other, over the last 4 years my right hand man and I have, (in our opinion) devised and formulated a track day to suit the experienced rider and the track day first timer, 263 riders have ridden on track for the first time with us, we have run 6 days without a single stoppage and I have banned 7 riders.
Monday we are at Cadwell, by all means come along and see how we do it, if I get a few who are booked in don't turn up there may be a chance to ride.
Next years dates are... July 13th Cadwell and August 17th Snetterton, (provisional)

I have one place to spare for Monday at Cadwell with the BMW Club, go to our website, then to registers, then to sporting and you will find my email address, simples!!!

Both excellent photos but Micky has the edge, both wheels off the ground:thumby:
I have seen that photo many times makes me chuckle every time I see it:cool:

Any update on the Cadwell day then.?
Went, saw a few GS's & Wc GS's, & at least one shiny new GSA that looked good.. Tried getting lap times but someone had a mishap just as I started doing a count..
Looked to be a good day..

Best to take the panniers off :rob

I need to try harder....:(...... My school reports always said the same...many years ago.
I've just picked back up on this thread... It was my first bike track day... So tyres, well I thought I'd try some Michelin Pilot Sport road 4... Ran on standard pressure... And left suspension alone... Just did the whole day in normal mode.
As I said my first track day.... It Wasn't intimidating... Met some nice people... And friendly, informative instructors.. and if they run another one next year.... I will be there.... But not sure about doing another 150 miles home straight after.... I was knackered..:rob

That's (was) the joy of Martin Hopps days, they AREN'T Track Days. He bins people off if they misbehave and he has very few bikes dropped. If you go on a standard track day after doing this 1, you may well be sorely disappointed at the speeds, lack of respect and number of offs.

Of course Bear.... But you do have issues...." Carol Vorderman" .... Really...!!! .... She is nearly as big as you.....

What what what!! What did I miss :D

It's always important to have someone in your corner doing the laptimes ;)
