After not much deliberation and the lighting quick sale of my Africa Twin on eBay, I’ve decided that I needed to supplement my 1200ADV with something a little more exciting, and will be taking delivery of this bad boy on the 1st September - :JB

That is indeed a beasty :thumb

Do you mind if I ask why the 950 rather than a 690 Enduro R or even the 450 exc?

They would seem to be more 'complimentary' as in they're light and a total contrast with the bulky Adv.......this new 950 is certainly a lot lighter and slimmer but it's still a heavy bike :nenau

Not criticising in the slightest.......just wondering :)

Nice bike indeed but ....

If you have a 1200 why go for something 'big' as the 2nd bike.

Over the last year or two alot of those on here that off roaded the 1150 / 1200 seem to have moved to smaller lighter bikes.

Good question – after test riding both the 690 & the 950, it simply came down to me finding the 950 the more comfortable of the two - :thumb
