Gold/Black spoked rims

Sorry if this question has been asked/answered before, I can't find any official answer.

Is there any official confirmation to the gold wheels being 'painted' or anodised? I would expect to see this on one of the motorrad sites.
I've searched most places I can think of, but nothing confirms.
What about the black rims?

The gold rims do look anodized.
No sure about the black, other than a pain to clean.

IIRC they are anodised for a more durable long lasting finish. A call to your local dealer would probably confirm this.
